The Consolidation & IFRS Accountant will assist with the quarterly Group consolidation process, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Also, will assist with the preparation of financial and non-financial data relating to the consolidation, which forms the basis for internal and external reporting.

The Consolidation & IFRS Accountant will be reporting to the Consolidation & IFRS Manager.

Καθήκοντα

In detail, the Consolidation & IFRS Accountant will be responsible for the following tasks:

Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
Support in performing IFRS adjustments/entries, preparing consolidation or IFRS treatment memorandums
Provide variance analysis and commentary on balance sheet and income statement changes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Administer, develop and improve the accuracy of consolidation tools, develop and implement best practice processes and systems in coordination with the senior members of the team
Contribute to internal and external audits providing requested supporting documentation and reporting related to the consolidation process
Support on a variety of ad hoc projects as required
Effective cooperation with all related departments, producing timely financial information required while adopting automated reporting tools to increase productivity and understanding

Εμπειρία και Εκπαίδευση

BSc in Business Administration / Accounting and Finance or in a relevant area of study, is a must
A Post Graduate degree (preferably MBA) is an asset
A professional qualification/working towards one (ie ACA/ACCA/IFRS), is highly valued
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query and financial tools
Excellent written and verbal Greek and English

Απαιτούμενη Εμπειρεία:

Professional Experience:

3-4 years of relevant professional experience, in Financial Controlling or Accounting Dept, preferably gained in a relevant industry to our Company (ie, construction, real estate or alternatively, auditing & consulting companies)
Solid experience in accounting procedures and financial reporting practices
Strong knowledge of IFRS & Greek GAAP
Solid knowledge of financial systems (ideally SAP/BW/BPC)
