The Analytics & Billing Engineer is end to end accountable for the design and delivery of BI projects.
• Review requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations
• Work closely with Project Managers and external suppliers to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines and to ensure the timely completion of deliverables
• Define appropriate architecture and other technical solutions and make recommendations to Business
• Support colleagues to identify emerging technologies or applications and consider the opportunity to integrate them into operations and activities
• Responsible for all test & development environments required for project delivery
• Estimate tasks required to complete various development projects including time and resources
• Estimate tasks required to complete various development projects including time and resources
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably in the Telecommunications and Information Technology field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle database design.
• Experience handling large data sets using SQL and databases in a business environment.
• Knowledge of OLAP technologies and BI Analytics, along with understanding different data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts.
• Knowledge of the following tools: SAP BO, Oracle ODI
• Knowledge of the Telco Industry and its products.
• Knowledge of Data streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming) will be appreciated.
