The Global Infrastructure Security engineer is an advisor for Infrastructure, IT Project managers and Business representatives about all security related needs (e.g.: network, application, data, systems security matters...), he/she guarantees the application of group security policies globally. He/she is responsible for the implementation, and oversight of group strategies and programs designed to reduce and mitigate information security risk across IT to a level tolerable to the organization and given by the Security Office.
Makes sure the global security strategy and policies regarding Infrastructure given by the Security Office is executed globally.
Promote new Infrastructure security compliant solutions and standards when necessary.
Participate in establishing technical guidelines, policies, standards and controls to protect business assets based on the threat landscape and risks inherent to the different infrastructure.
Propose and deploy security technical solutions.
Analyze security issues, determine its cause and impact to the business and identify the corrective action needed to eliminate and prevent the event for the future.
Work with IT Infrastructure team members to assist and provide guidance in the design mitigations for identified weaknesses.
Support project managers for all infrastructure security aspects part of their projects.
Actively participate in ticket resolution on the team application perimeter (linked to Infra Security).
Support for IT Customer Care team (hand-remote help).
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
2 - 3 years of practical experience in information security infrastructure in large heterogeneous enterprise level IT organization.
Fluent or native English speaker.
Experience managing multiple, simultaneous and high-profile information security initiatives and responses.
Strong knowledge of common information security management frameworks.
Strong infrastructure (servers, network) knowledge background.
