Senior DevOps Engineer

The role is responsible for working closely with software, QA, and systems engineers to understand requirements and prototype, architect, implement, operate, and update DevOps solutions accordingly. The jobholder must be flexible to constant business and technology change, with the ability to interact, engineer and collaborate efficiently with a wide range of stakeholders. 

Καθήκοντα

  • Establish a portfolio of DevOps processes, practices, and tools to empower and support delivery teams in continuous deployment, continuous integration, and rapid delivery across value streams 
  • Coordinate as a product owner one or more teams that implement software configuration, integration, build & deployment tools 
  • Create and implement automation and orchestration tools with infrastructure teams or cloud providers 
  • Educate and foster self-service and efficiency wherever possible, automating the processes of provisioning and maintaining continuous integration environments, integration/QA testing, security & configuration 
  • Ensure availability, scalability, maintainability, monitoring of systems for operations 

Εμπειρία και Εκπαίδευση

  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a relevant role  
  • Automated software and infrastructure deployment and configuration management 
  • Agile and DevOps Software development experience 
  • Public and private cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies, e.g., AWS (preferred), Openstack, Azure 
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, client-server communication and networking inside Kubernetes Cluster 
  • Virtualization and infrastructure technologies, e.g., Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, VMWare, Xen, KVM, Windows 
  • Infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, e.g.  Terraform, Helm, Ansible 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD 
  • Performance Test automation with SonarQube and live Monitoring with Splunk
