The opportunity

As an EY supply chain and operations professional, you’ll use your analytical insight to drive clients’ global business performance. Working as part of a high-performing team, you’ll deliver exceptional client service and help leading organizations improve their E2E SC forward and reverse processes (planning, procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing & fulfillment, transportation, distribution, reverse logistics, operations and after sales services), within a variety of sectors.

Your key responsibilities

You will take part in challenging global / regional / local projects and you will:

• Be involved in client meetings and interview client stakeholders to understand their business requirements
• Perform data analyses with advanced analytics tools to understand current state and identify areas of improvement
• Provide solutions in the areas of:

• Supply Chain process optimization
• Distribution network and flows optimization
• Staff productivity increase – Process reengineering / productivity optimization
• Procurement & Inventory optimization
• Design and re-design of distribution / fulfilment centers
• Transportation/route planning
• SC visibility

 Skills and attributes for success

• Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects under tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to develop presentations that are clear and impactful, translating EY advisory services into meaningful valued propositions for clients
• Strong analytical and attention to detail skills with a logical and methodical approach
• A passion and motivation to provide high quality service to our clients
• Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor and/or master’s degree in supply chain / Logistics management, Operations Management, Operational research, Industrial Management / Engineering, Environmental Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or other related field with strong quantitative focus Experience in business environment and very good understanding of SC processes
• Advanced skills in Office applications and good knowledge of any data analytics, modelling and SC simulation or optimization tool
• Advanced business writing skills both in Greek and English
• 4 - 6 years of Consulting experience
• AutoCAD design is a plus
• Network Design tools (e.g. Supply Chain Guru / Anylogistix or any other simulation is a plus
