QA Engineer (Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion)

What you’ll do

As a QA Engineer you will be part of an agile team that is designing and implementing Vodafone high volume and high impact web & mobile applications. We are continuously working on new features and ways to improve customer experience and interaction with our apps. 
 
Key accountabilities:
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure adherence to design quality 
  • Design and implement automated tests for user and technical stories 
  • Debug tests and provide corrective actions to developers 
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within the team 
  • Contribute to the maintenance and creation of test automation frameworks for REST API, Web and Mobile Testing 
  • Establish relationships with engineers to figure out their needs and feature requests 
  • Identify areas of QA improvement and implement processes around it.

Απαιτούμενη Εμπειρεία:

Who you are

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field 
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing, with experience in Selenium, Appium and BDD Framework will be considered a plus 
  • Coding experience in at least one object-oriented programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving & time-management skills 
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills (English is a must) 
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle 
  • Solid knowledge of basic principles of Software Quality Assurance 
  • Experience working with agile methodologies / in agile teams will be considered an asset 
  • Experience in Continuous Integration process, version control, defect tracking and test management tools
