The primary purpose of the role will be to provide support in the defense and resolution of tax matters and to provide support in the implementation of initiatives to prevent future tax controversy matters.  This will involve strong daily cooperation with the CFO, the Financial Management team as well as with the senior internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Build relationships and interact with Organization’s divisions so as to provide excellent planning and consulting expertise 
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop the tax team. Provide coaching, growth opportunities, to ensure team members reach their full potential. People Manager of 4. 
  • Provide tax consulting services supporting Organization’ s projects (business partners) from a tax compliance and a tax risk management perspective  
  • Ensure tax law compliance according to the applicable tax law framework 
  • Design and execute synergies with the Finance Operations so as to best support Organization's finance - tax resilience  
  • Take ownership of the tax engagements demonstrating high level of project management skills 
  • Be the focal point of the Group Tax projects for the local market, supporting Group Tax  
  • Be responsible for the Tax Audits performed by the Tax Authorities 
  • Able to identify business opportunities and contribute to the practice through proactive interactions with the Organization’ s management 

Εμπειρία και Εκπαίδευση

  • University degree in Finance and Tax (Master degree will be an asset) 
  • At least 7-8 years of a relevant experience  
  • People Management skills, Proven ability to lead and manage a team 
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written 
  • Degree of A class 
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulations and deadlines 
  • Familiarity with the tax submission and confirmation process 
  • Great organizational skills, including time management and strategic thinking
